The Dr. said it was basically a full thickness skin graft. He sewd it all back to gether just like a quilt. He even tied a several ties in the center just like you would a big quilt block, to keep the skin in contact with the muscle etc. He stitched approx. 50-75 stitches. (we lost count after awhile):) Taylor will have a perty dang awesome scar to brag about! He is such a trooper tho. He is healing fast and it hasn't slowed him down much.
Elvin calls him the "One Armed Bandit" :) He'll be in the sling for at least a week or more.
His brothers and sister have been soo helpful and nice to him. ALL iS WeLL!

YIKES! That is pretty scary. When Bradley rolled his car a couple of years ago, they had to bring in a plastic surgeon to sew up his head. This reminds me of it. Ewwwww. Well, it sounds like he was pretty brave indeed. Feel better soon, Taylor!
I still can't believe that. What a weird spot to get a cut (or rip) what ever you want to call it. Good job being so brave Taylor. What would we do without cell phones huh?
Oh man... poor Taylor. What a trooper though, i would have been crying like a little girl. Can't wait to see you guys again.. hopefully soon??!! (we will be down on May 24th)
