Hey ever-body! Soo sorry to make you look at Me n' Elvins pic for 3 months! :) How boring is that?! yikes. Well the kids are back in school and it seems our lives have settled down a bit and I actually have a chance to update the blog. I downloaded all my pics too so I have the whole summer to show ya.:)

TODAY IS OUR 16TH ANNIVERSARY! :)

Okay....so I been busy:) And my lap top totally crashed, spent a week in the shop, only my pics and the basic startup stuff survived. They couldn't even recover sound. Yip! S.O.L But all is well. I got all my pics so I be happy. :)

Our month of May went by so fast I'm not sure I can even recount much of it. The boys had fun at the Father n' Son's outing. They camped out @ Warm Springs ( a church owned resort out in the middle of the Nevada dessert) Yah...that's a picture of one of the many pools.

Then there was Mother's Day. Rio made me breakfast in bed all by himself! He is soo sentimental and sweet. Kass made a ceramic cup and Tay made a cute wall hanging thing. Oh i'm so lucky to be their mom! I got great kids if I do say so myself. :)

The next weekend our awesome neighbor gaves us free tickets to the C.O.R.R Baja Truck Races in Vegas. That was soooo way cool! And awesome, and exciting, and loud, and dusty but soo totally off the charts on entertainment! We are #1 fans. We even hooked up Ryan and his boys and got to spend the day at the races with them.

Another cool thing that happened last month was we finally got our b ball court poured out back. We put up the hoops a week or so later and now we're ready for hte playoffs. :)

May 23rd was the last day of school for the kids and boy are they so sad about that! (NOT!)

For Memorial weekend we spent most of it in Alton at My Fam Reunion. It was way fun, A little on the cold side but soo great to visit with my sibs and the Cummings clan. I got such a great Family!

May 31st I put together an Action Construction BBQ at the Park. A little bit stressful but all went well. We are so grateful for good employees and most of all blessed with more jobs. YEH! :)

That perty much sums it all up. I just have to mention how great the kids have been this last week w/out school and me starting most my days @ 5am, they have been soo awesome at doing their list of chores and being responsible and tolerant with each other till I get home. Did I mention I had great kids?? hmmm :)

Okay, now that I can't think of anything else to blah, blah I'll jis shut up. :)

Howdy ya'll! :) Have to apolgize for the groda pics of Tay's arm. Hope nobody got grossed out to bad. His arm is healing great. the Dr. was really impressed with the progress. The stitches are starting to fall out or disolve. I think he's enjoyed all the attention he's gotten from it. Exspecially at school. He likes to gross out the girls. :)
I started my 2nd job this week. My sis-in-law bought a local CURVES here in town and was desperate to find help for the early shift. Soo I thought "Duh, why not get paid $$$ to workout"! No brainer! So i work from 5:30 am to 8am mon, tues & thursdays. woohoo huh. :)
We are all doin good. Elvin's work has been picking up a little bit, so we are counting our blessings! T.T.F.N.

TaYLoR's BiG OWWEEE!.....(caution to the queazy!)

Last friday, I was at the office working when I get a phone call that Taylor has cut his arm and is en-route to the E.R. (Never a fun call for a parent to get!)

The Kids had been playing a game on the neighbors trampoline and Tay was head & arms down in between a set of springs. An older boy was helping him up, by grabbing his feet and pulling him back onto the tramp, all in one yank. Taylor's arm pit had got caught on the hook of the spring and basically scalped the skin off the underside of his arm.

How about that for a random, wierd accident?? :)

This first picture is what I first saw and only part of the injury. He didn't want to lift up his arm to show me the rest of it. Can't blame him one bit tho.

A little morphine, sedation, A Plastic Surgeon and 5 hrs later we were out of E.R. I took these pictures with my phone. How else was I gonna explain it without pics?

If you want to see more, be prepared. It aint pretty!..YIKES!

I'm just sooo proud of Taylor. He was soo brave and courageous. And a GREAT big thanx to my Dear sweet neighbor that gave him 1st aid, and drove him to the Pital! We love you Mindy! You Da best!! :)

TaYLoR....... AdDiNg To oUR CoX cReW ScAR coLLeCTioN!! :)

The Dr. said it was basically a full thickness skin graft. He sewd it all back to gether just like a quilt. He even tied a several ties in the center just like you would a big quilt block, to keep the skin in contact with the muscle etc. He stitched approx. 50-75 stitches. (we lost count after awhile):) Taylor will have a perty dang awesome scar to brag about! He is such a trooper tho. He is healing fast and it hasn't slowed him down much.
Elvin calls him the "One Armed Bandit" :) He'll be in the sling for at least a week or more.
His brothers and sister have been soo helpful and nice to him. ALL iS WeLL!

Apryl Showers bring May flowers, n' makes it less stinky around the house! tee-hee :)

Yip! The months fly by 90 miles an hour 'round here! I'm trying not to freak out about how quickly I get behind on perty much everything. We did start the month off in a crazy fun way..I made meatloaf cupcakes covered with blue mashed potatoes for dinner and pound cake and frosting to look like toasted cheese sandwhiches!:) I pranked pretty much everyone I could and had a successful day of April FOOLIN! :)
We went on an impromtu campout to the Coral Pinks last weekend with our neighbor. Of course we had fun!:)Came back in time to catch the Preisthood session.
We sooo enjoyed fabulous General Conference. Pres. Monson is amazing!
Elvin is starting a job in Vernal tomorrow. Soo grateful for the work, jis wish it didn't have to be soo far away. All is well with us, Hope this month treats ya'll fabulous! :)

Snow tubing during Spring Break! woohoo! :)

Check out our funny little video clip!:) We had soo much fun up in Alton tubing and visiting with Grandma. Kids are outta school for Spring Break this week, even tho it aint spring, it aint even Easter yet but our school district is obviously CONFUSED! :) We'll make the most of it tho. Thanx for all the fun GRANDMA! And the warm fire, homemade soup and choc. chip cookies! A fabulous day fer sure! :)

Holy Cow it's March already???!!! :)

We survived Feburary! :) It's all good. Kass turned 12 and is definately a "tween-ager" :) Valentines Day was "SWEET"! ......Pres. Day weekend at Dumont was super fun!..... We got to see Gayla an the Girls, Laura had her cute Baby! Rio's basketball team finished the season un-defeated! Go Rio!
Lets see.....ummmm..... Oh Elvin went on a work trip to New York. LUCKY! Got to see Niagra Falls and Palmyra....... Our whole Family had to speak in church! Yikes! It was scarey but turned out awesome. The kids did GREAT and Elvin is now famous and still getting compliments on his talk giving abilities! :)..... Leap Day seemed some what un-eventful and things at work are going better so,.... we are happy, grateful, and fabulous! :) We're ready for some Spring weather! Bring it on MaRcH! :)
